The Research On The Issue Of Teacher-student Relationship

Teacher-student relationship is not only an important theoretical issue in education but also an important practical issue in teaching process. Teacher-student relationship plays an important and significant role in educating and teaching. However, in our practical work, there still exist some problems about teacher-student relationship and some problems are still rather serious. Many experts and colleagues in education have had a lot of researches which are valuable on the issues about the relationship between teachers and students . We can learn a lot from the researches. But the researches on the teacher-student relationship should never be static because the reality is changeable and each individual's life experiences,motional experiences,ways of thinking and mental maturity are not the same with others'. So in reality, we have different ways and responses to handling the relationship between teachers and students. The author as a high school English teacher is willing to combine her own fourteen years'teaching experiences about the teacher-student relationship with the literature research method and empirical analysis through analysing both teachers and students in the problems about teacher-student relationship as well as the characteristics of a good teacher-student relationship to explore the factors that build a good teacher-student relationship. I can explore some effective means and methods of solving the problems about the relationship between teachers and students through studying and analysing casesMy thesis consists of three parts:The first part of the content is about an overview of teacher-student relationship.Through literature searching and research, I explain the definition and significance of teacher-student relationship and the characteristics of a good teacher-student relationship.The second part is about a research on the issues about the relationship between teachers and students.Through the empirical analysis, I describe the problems about teacher-student relationship and analyse the causes.The third part is about the solution strategies of the problems about teacher-student relationship. According to the cases study for the teacher-student relationship, I analyse and explore effective ways to improve the teacher-student relationship.
