In this paper, the scholars on the parent-child communication on the basis of the study, focused on the current primary school students in rural areas, the status of parent-child communication. I selected some rural schools in the region of Inner Mongolia as to investigate the pupils. The study used survey research methods, a total of four schools selected for the sixth grade, students paid more than 400 questionnaires. Data were analyzed statistically using spssl 1.5 package.Survey showed that:Rural primary school students and their parents is good overall, but some people there is never in communication with the parents. Communication time, while the overall survey results show that short, relatively fixed place of communication, more focus on the content of communication (mainly concentrated in the learning habits and everyday life), relatively fixed means of communication (mainly in two ways:the dinner table and fixed communication time face to face communication) and so on.Communication initiative, the father, mother, child (female) three to unilaterally take the initiative to communicate is not high. Interest in the communication,60% of all parents are interested in fashion. And parents to parent-child communication,50% of the students felt free, nearly 90% of the students expressed satisfaction.Parents differ in some aspects of communication. Never in the existence of the phenomenon of the existence of differences in communication, the pecent of communication with his father is higher than the proportion of mothers. While there are also reasons for differences:the father, the main primary school students do not understand that his father, leading to never communicate phenomenon; in the mother, the main love of the mother angry, leading to communication phenomena never arise. Nearly 8% of students feel that the mother is not reliable, leading to the phenomenon of communication never occurred, and this because the fathers do not exist. There are also in the communication time difference.Students often choose a weekend, usually at night and holidays to communicate with his father were higher than mothers, and mothers for the parent-child communication, more than half of students choose to communicate at any time. Content of the communication differences also exist. Students to communicate with his father mainly focused on learning, communication with the mother mainly concentrated in the daily habits. Nearly half of primary school students to choose the mother as the ideal audience.In addition, other differences also exist, but differences were less pronounced.Based on our survey results, we also found that parents of the educational methods, educational attitudes and deeper conception of education in areas such as varying degrees of problems. Therefore, in the cause of parent-child communication, the authors tentatively propose some countermeasures and suggestions to solve.
