The new curriculum of the high school uses module as the basic unit and it brings a great change of the structure of teaching. The concept and operation on the reform of physical education and health are related with the module. The PE module teaching is an important means to realize the ordinary high school physical education and health course's diversification and individuation. It also puts forward new requirements on the learning evaluation of PE subject. The module evaluation is a major part of physical education learning evaluation, which may improve the instruction of physical education course effectively. Since the new reform is still at the experimental stage, the theoretical researches are much more than the empirical researches. Therefore, it is useful to make more empirical researches about the new idea of the reform into the operation process to get the realistic significance of students'integrated development.The study collected the latest researches domestic and overseas. It was supposed to find the situation of the theoretical researches about module evaluation of physical education. It summarizes the suggestion from PE teachers and experts by document literature and questionnaire survey to state the importance of module evaluation of physical education and raise the specific operation idea. It makes a classification analysis between the different kinds of modules. We hope to find an assessment system which is practical and protocol, hommization and flexible, so that it could improve the learning and development of students, and make the students meet the goal of reform.Through my research, I obtained the following conclusions:1. PE teachers are heeding the call of the new reform, and join in the new module learning assessment. But the diversity of the assessment makes the teachers hard to work and over work. 2. Nowadays, PE teachers commonly think it is hard to handle the credits affirmation during the evaluation of the physical education module curriculum. Most of them still use the centesimal system which is not adequate for the new reform.3. PE teachers ask the students who are fail to get the credits to take a supplementary examination or rebuild the credits. They don't agree to use the flexible educational system.4. PE teachers obtain the result of module learning evaluation according to the requirement of school and the actuality of students, and the overall appraisal of the process evaluation and summative assessment.5. High school students obtain the result of their module learning according to the fitness test and the feedback of their teachers. They think the most important thing in their PE module learning is the learning of movement skills and develop an earnest learning attitude.6. There are slightly differences between the participation of assessment object, the assessment methods and forms on different levels of students'assessment of sports series module. |
