Core Stability Training is a set of exercises for core muscles and deep small muscles, mainly to train their strength, stability and balance. As a new concept, it has won increasing attention in the sports circles, and is widely applied in competition sports recent years. The function of core stability training is helping control body position and exert force during dynamic movements, improving balance and coordination ability of nervous-muscular system. sanda is characteristic of skill-guide, in which motor skill is one of the determine factors of competing ability. Under the condition that sanda switches between attack and defense rapidly and variously, athletes need excellent stability and trunk coordination ability. So according to the function of core stability training, it will play a positive role in sanda exercises that athletes will bring their skills well.Having applied methods of looking up documents and materials, interview with specialists, experiments and observation, this article is a research report on the influence Core Stability Training has over sanda motor skill, both theoretically and in practice. Take the students of the two sanda major classes of Tianjin Institute of Physical Education as an example. Pick out twenty people who are in accordance with the request of the experiment, and divide them into two groups, one as experimental group and another as control group. After eight week experiment, have test on every aspect showing these athletes' motor skills. Then through the vertical analysis within one group and the lateral analysis between two groups, finish data statistics and get the result. It shows that:Core Stability Training can efficiently improve athletes balance stability, and muscles coordination ability, which well support the sanda skills. What is more, in the complicated and volatile situation of competition, athletes have better physical fitness resulting from good skills, and do a better performance.
