With the development of modern science and technology, the multimedia teaching method has been brought into the moral class of secondary vocational school. Nowadays, it's very common to use the multimedia material as a practical way to support moral education. But what is the status of the multimedia teaching method being used for the moral class? Are there any problems in the utilization? What are the reasons for these problems and how to solve them? This article will focus on the above-mentioned questions.After in-depth investigation by using literature method, questionnaire analysis method and in-class observation method, this article draws the following conclusions: the multimedia teaching method in the moral class is welcomed by both teachers and students. However, it still has some shortages in the process of teaching due to various reasons. It is mainly caused by the limitation of teachers'awareness, the teaching methods, the selection and the sources of the teaching material. The shortage of multimedia teaching method being used for the moral class exists in the area of history, experience and skills.On the basis of the teaching experience, and regarding behaviorism and constructivist theory as a guide, the article intends to establishe some standards for the teaching process of the utilization of the multimedia teaching method and makes some requirements for the teachers:1) Improving the teachers'self-competence with the deeply understanding of the textbook and the introduction to the students properly.2) Improving the skills of the teachers and let them make good use of the multimedia material.3) Improving the teachers'ability of selecting the multimedia material.4) Enhancing communication and interaction between the teachers and the students, and improving the role of the students 5) Excavating the channels of getting the multimedia resources; trying to make some material by the teachers themselves.
