Class system is an important part of the education system, and class work is essential to the job of school education. In the comprehensive promotion of quality education in our country and the new basic education curriculum reform process, the teacher plays more important role, and basic literacy is the key to good class work. The basic literacy of class teacher is the the general factor that the teacher has in teaching and class management qualities, self-cultivation, the ability. It is multi-faceted, and the work of the class teacher in the practice of long-term accumulation. More higher level, it is that the class teachers upgrade their own values and achieve comprehensive development. Under the new curriculum, the context of the basic literacy include five aspects:ethics quality, knowledge quality, ability to literacy, information literacy, physical and psychological quality. These five aspects are interrelated and mutually influenced the interaction. It has four basic characteristics:education of human nature, stability, dynamics and harmony. For more realistic understanding of the basic literacy, this article uses an analysis of survey methods. By analyzing, we summer up the content of the basic literacy and how to develop literacy. In the end,we take Hou jian cheng as an example for analysis.
