| The new national basic education revolution has proposed teaching three-dimensional aim. It fully illustrates that self-learning which is to improve the scientific literacy and scientific spirit of students will gradually replace the traditional teacher-lecture-based teaching method. However, owing to students'limited knowledge, low self-learning ability, large curriculum content and academic pressure on college entrance examination, the self-learning model advocated by the new curriculum meets difficulties. During the process of transformation from knowledge-based teaching to students-based teaching, no teacher can find an effective teaching method that both reflect the new curriculum reform and the entrance examination. The paper gives the majority of front-line teachers the basis for action that is realistic and reflects concept of the new curriculum by learning the design and the action of Guided Learning-Style Case Studies.
