| In the 21st century, due to the rapid development of science and technology and the economic globalization, various kinds of education among different levels are under an unprecedented impact. For the social development, every citizen should not only have a good scientific literacy, but also humanities, some innovative spirit and open horizons. In response to the social challenges, a new round of education reform is imperative. It's more concerned with the education curriculum reform which is the most important in basic education. Among the language curriculum reform, the preparation and promulgation of language curriculum standards are an important expression. In order to master the language reform correctly, in my report firstly has clarified the process and trend of language curriculum standards since the new period, then tried to explore and better language curriculum standards from an international perspective, in order to make our language reform more scientific and advanced.In the research we select five language curriculum standards (since 1978) as the study object.By the analysis of the framework, curriculum objectives and implementation, we clarify the corresponding track and rules. We also quote some cases of foreign standards in order to further revise and improve the existing language curriculum standards with strategies and recommendations. With the development of domestic and international politics, economy and culture as well as the huge need of this society to talents, people's understanding of the language subjects is rising, so that the language curriculum standards (curriculum) has been improving gradually to adapt to the social needs.Thesis is composed by the six chapters; each chapter is summed up as follows:Chapter one is the introduction. Firstly it introduced the motivation and meaning, research target and field, research ideas, methods and limitations; then are the framework and the related definition of the concept; finally is this study Literature Review.Chapter two is the theoretical basis. Firstly are the theory of curriculum standards and requirements of the preparation; secondly is the theoretical basis of language subject pedagogy; finally is Maslow's humanism, Bloom target classification, etc, and our inspiration of those on the preparation of curriculum theory and language curriculum standards for our inspiration.The third chapter firstly begins with an overview of the new period of several curricula and language courses in 2001; then makes a research the political, economic and cultural background for the selected five study language courses standards promulgated, in order to show the tortuous road of Language Reform and Development, and pave the way for the next chapter discussed.Chapter Four is the evolution of junior high school language curriculum content standards. Curriculum standards for each language enacted not only reflect the social, political, economic and cultural changes, but the evolution of document contents. The chapter gives an analysis in the five language courses standards:the framework, curriculum goals, curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation. There be a conclusion that the enactment or amendment of each standard need adapt to social development at the political, economic and cultural needs.Chapter Five is the understanding of the reality as well as the thinking and exploration for the reality and future based on the previous article discussed. Firstly is the summary in the experience of the preparation or amendment of lessons in the new period standards; then make some exploration and creative thinking to the shortcoming at the composition, framework, objectives, content, etc.The innovations of this thesis are the research methods from vertical and horizontal two-dimensional perspectives firstly, then from the standpoint of heritage and innovation begin to analyze in depth. As follows:Firstly, by the introduction of its background of five languages the curriculum standards, it will prepare for the analysis of the evolution.Secondly, this paper makes a comprehensive analysis for the frame, objectives, content and so on of five languages curriculum standards.Thirdly, this paper makes some relatively concrete and workable suggestions for improving the existing language curriculum standards. It says that the language curriculum standards should be updated, frame structure should be improved, "content standards" and "performance standards" should be added and so on. |
