Study On National Quality Curriculum Of Ideological And Political Theory Course In University

In order to improve the quality of teaching and personnel training in university, the Ministry of Education started the project of National Quality Curriculum construction in 2003. As an important part of National Quality Curriculum, the national quality curriculum of ideological and political theory course is defined as the model curriculum, which is at the highest level, with first-class teachers, first-class teaching content, first-class teaching materials, first-class teaching methods and means, first-class teaching management. It has characteristics of the integrity and particularity, theoretical and practical, advanced and scientific, interactive and continuous, open and model etc.. A group of outstanding model national curriculum of ideological and political theory course should be established to achieve the goal that sharing the high-quality teaching resources, improving the education quality of ideological and political disciplines comprehensively.Since the start of construction project of National Quality Curriculum, our country has built 38 National Quality Curriculums of ideological and political theory course. These courses have made great achievements, which include having cleared the educational objectives, formed excellent team of teachers, organized a system of teaching content, innovated a variety of teaching methods, chose three-dimensional new materials, used advanced teaching means, reformed the traditional examination methods. But there are some inadequacies, mainly manifested that the overall level of teachers needs to be improved, the reform of teaching methods and means need to strengthen, the teaching content has failed to receive timely updates, teaching management system need to improve further, the network development of teaching resource needs to be strengthened.In order to consolidate the outcome of National Quality Curriculum construction of the ideological and political theory course, raise the level of its construction and give full play to their demonstration and radiation, we need to persist in combining teaching and research to strengthen the team construction of teachers; persist in combining tradition and modern to improve the teaching methods and means; persist in combining content and form to update the teaching resources; persist in combining standard and opening to optimize network resources; persist in combining efficiency and quality to improve the management system, which should base on learning from their successful experience actively and being against the problem that highlights in practice.
