| With the wide application of information technology, the establishment of digitalization in schools provides new approaches to the realization of the informationization of education, profoundly changes the way people are educated or study, and gives an impet to educational development and reform. Ideas, means and ways traditionally employed in music education and its evaluation system can no longer adapt to the requirements of quality—oriented education, and in turn fail to bring into effective play beauty—appreciating function of music education and ristrict the development of music education in schools in China. Suggestions for the adoption of new music curriculum for senior schools have made it clear that the great role that modern information technology plays on music education by means of computer multi-mediums and networks should be fully realized. Teachers should be concerned about new developments in modern information technology and fully ultilize the resources of computers and networks belonging to schools, households and society, keep updating educational approaches and help students go about their study effectively. Therefore, it is quite imperative to research on music education and probe its laws and patterns in the environment of the digitalization of school education.This topic has been conducted by means of questionaires and its results have been put together and analysed. The survey made before shows that the majority of students have come to accept multi-media and network teaching and recognize its superiority . Music teachers can basically operate modern electrical audio-visual teaching facilities, master multi-media and network technologies, and get materials online and create coursewares . Meanwhile, we sincerely hope that the raw materials warehouse of the educational information center can offer access to music resources in order to save teachers time for lesson preparation and students time for study.
