Professional skill is an important part of teachers'diathesis, teachers should not only know the professional knowledge, but also gain the appropriate skills. Nowadays, with the development of the basic education curriculum reform and information technology, the meaning and the struction of teachers' professional skills have changed. For this reason, a research on the professional skill system of high school biology teachers has carried out. On the one hand, the training system can guide the professional development of individual teachers; on the other hand, it is the foundation of teacher education institutions setting up training courses and activities.The research focuses on the analysis of the present status of high school biology teachers'professional skill in Zhejiang Province and the construction of the professional skill system of high school biology teachers by literature review, questionnaire, and face-to-face interview. Firstly, the paper gives a new definition to the high school biology teachers' professional skill and constructs an initial training system of high school biology teachers' professional skills on the basis of reviewing the research on teachers'professional skill of scholars at home and abroad in recent years and analyzing the characteristics of biology education. Secondly, the questionnaire of the present status of high school biology teachers' professional skill in Zhejiang Province and the importance of the detailed listing of high school biology teachers'professional skill are compiled, and 400 high school teachers from 10 different districts of Zhejiang Province are sampled for the investigation. The results of the survey show that the present status of the most skills in the professional skill system of high school biology teachers are good, but the present status of individual skills, such as school-based curriculum development skill and skill in writing and publication of educational papers are not satisfatory; the contrast of the present status of high school biology teachers' professional skill between male and female teachers is not remarkable; the contrast of the present status of high school biology teachers'professional skill between teachers from general middle school and key middle school teachers is extremely remarkable; the contrast of the present status of high school biology teachers' professional skill among teachers from different districts is not remarkable; the contrast of the present status of high school biology teachers' professional skill among teachers of different seniority is extremely remarkable; the contrast of the present status of high school biology teachers'professional skill among teachers of different titles is extremely remarkable. Thirdly, according to result of the face-to-face interviews with 5 experts in related fields and the survey of the importance of the detailed listing of high school biology teachers'professional skill, the professional skill system of high school biology teachers is finally constructed, the main content includes analysing the structure of the system and interpreting the meaning of each skill.The high school biology teachers'professional skill is the subject teaching skill which biology teachers in high school must acquire, it is based on a certain knowledge accumulation and intelligence training. In the light of the principles of exclusive, extensional, systematic and practical, the paper proposes the skills as follows:teaching resources exploration and utilization skill, instructional design skills, classroom teaching skill, study guiding skill, teaching measurement and evaluation skill, teaching research skill, biology experiment teaching skill. Each skill is independent, meanwhile, they are also interrelated, comprising a compeleted training system of high school biology teachers'professional skills.
