The teaching quality of P.E. school of normal university depends on the comprehensive quality of academic teachers and technique teachers, and the latter takes a great proportion in the whole faculty. Therefore, technique teachers' quality and specialization is closely related to success or failure on physical education career, virtue and defect degree of the quality of P.E. reform. In the social setting such as "constructing a learning society" and promoting teachers' specialization, technique teachers in P.E. school of normal university need urgently to update ideas and improve their own teaching knowledge. The paper explored approaches to the development of technique teachers in P.E. school of normal university and the influencing factors, aiming at offering some useful reference to the specialization of technique teachers.The studying method such as literature consultation, questionnaire, interview and mathematical statistics, combined with the relative knowledge of pedagogy, sports science and statistics were used in the paper. It studied each stage, various resources and different approaches to the knowledge development of technique teachers in P.E. school of normal university, and explored the importance and functions of various knowledge resources.In the study, the teaching knowledge of technique teachers in P.E. school of normal university was divided into three respects such as "teaching knowledge of curriculum", "teaching knowledge of contents", "teaching knowledge of methodology". The knowledge resources and the approaches to which a teacher acquires his knowledge are various, which include "course-learning at university", "pre-career training", "during-career training". "Course-learning at university", which lays a solid foundation of a teacher's knowledge structure, is an important resource of the "teaching knowledge of curriculum". The accumulation of basic knowledge and acquiring teaching ability knowledge mainly occur during school and college. The pre-career training is significant for a teacher to obtain all sorts of teaching methods. It's a short-term training through which a person is expected to be qualified for the job of teaching in time. As for a technique teacher with many years working experience, "during-career training" helps him to recharge his batteries, What's more, a technique teacher will objectively have more opportunities to develop his own knowledge and gradually realize his specialization during work time. There are many subjective and objective factors influencing knowledge development of technique teachers in P.E. school of normal university.The paper set forth the following suggestions:a. optimize course arrangement, promoting the formation of the teaching knowledge structure of technique teachers in P.E. school of normal university. b. perfect "pre-career training", laying a foundation for a person to be a qualified technique teacher. c. organize various of professional activities, enhancing technique teachers' teaching ability and skill. d. pay attention to "during-career training", developing technique teachers' own comprehensive knowledge.
