Eu Anti - Corruption Repor

As the obstacle of the social development, corruption is a problem that needs to be solved for all the government throughout the world. In the year of 2014, the European Union Commission released the first anti-corruption report. This paper chooses the fourth part “Public Procurement” to translate it into Chinese. The source text introduces the legislation of public procurement in EU and analyzes the risk of corruption and model of corruption in the area of public procurement, therefore making suggestions to all the member states of EU. After analyzes the text features of the source text, this paper concludes the features of this kind report are that the context covers a wide range of knowledge and uses a lot of jargon and long sentences. Given that the source text mainly covers the knowledge of law, commerce and so on, this paper introduces the ways to translate the words of different fields as well as the translation skills of long sentences. At last, this paper shows the gain from the translation practice of this kind of report.
