Based on the present research status of primary comprehensive course in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, this paper adopting the method of action research, presents an attemptable teaching plan of Are You Able to Climb Such a High Mountain, Lesson 56 in Chinese Textbook compiled by Yang Jizhou. It includes five parts.In the first place, it introduces the popular situation of teaching design and teaching research, acting as a literature presentation.Second, it puts forward a teaching design of Are You Able to Climb Such a High Mountain, mainly including teaching object analysis, teaching environment analysis, textbook analysis, class analysis, design principles, teaching methods, teaching content analysis, teaching targets analysis, time arrangement, teaching aids, and the specific teaching steps.Third, it offers a practical teaching process of Are You Able to Climb Such a High Mountain in class, divided into three classes. The main contents of the first class are possible complement (2) and the text Are You Able to Climb Such a High Mountain. The main contents of the second class are the use of "as long as......" and the text I worried that I play bad. The third class is to summarize and review the lesson Are You Able to Climb Such a High Mountain, deal with the exercises, and organize the class party.Fourth, it makes a reflection on the teaching effect through the teacher’s self-reflection and a careful analysis of the questionnaire. Through the results of the survey, we can see that the teaching design of Are You Able to Climb Such a High Mountain by the author in the classroom teaching, basically reached the requirement of teaching outline effect.Finally, it comes to the conclusion that an excellent teaching design is a product of the teacher’s solid theoretical base and comprehensive ability, and a successful class practice is the presentation of the teacher’s balanced personality and absorbing quality. Therefore, a key task for the teacher is to improve on theoretically, practically, emotionally and culturally.
