With the development of the language, the "bitter" develops from its original meaning to extended sense, containing the description of human mental state, psychological feelings and emotional experience in many aspects, widely used in Chinese communication, making it a key part of teaching contents in teaching Chinese as a second language. Presently, there is no research on the category of "bitter" as a whole. This paper takes bitter-class words as the research object, focusing on usage of bitter-class words in the vocabulary syllabus and textbooks according to the Developing Chinese comprehensive and speaking course series and the new HSK vocabulary. By setting the questionnaire for foreign students in the use of bitter-class words and corpus collection, the author concludes the error types and causes so as to offer suggestions to teaching textbook and Chinese-teaching.This paper is divided into five parts:The introduction part mainly includes the significance of the title, study method and process and some research status of bitter-class words.The first chapter focuses on the usage of bitter-class words in the syllabus and teaching materials, analyzing the using status in a total of 12 comprehensive and spoken language teaching materials by chart, including new HSK vocabulary and the development of the Chinese. By comparing with the Modern Chinese Frequency Dictionary, the problems and rightness used in the syllabus and textbooks are discussed.The second chapter is about the questionnaire survey of the bitter-class words for the upper intermediate foreign scholars, three parts included: the design, the purpose and the analysis of the results of the questionnaire. The design part contains the design idea of the questionnaire and the selection of respondents. The questionnaire is based on lexical syllabus, bitter words in textbooks and HSK dynamic composition corpus, with 60 foreign learners from Shenyang Normal University, Shenyang Ligong University and Liaocheng University.The third chapter is the error analysis based on the questionnaire and "HSK dynamic composition corpus", from questionnaire analysis and corpus errors, summarizing error types and reasons for the foreign learners in the use of bitter-class words of Chinese.The fourth chapter, on the basis of the above, gives bitter-class words textbook compiling and using suggestions,and teaching suggestions. hopes that it can provide some reference for the bitter-class words teaching even for vocabulary teaching in TCFL.
