This article has chosen two different types of textbooks as the objects of study, which are typical representative, widely used and also have high acceptance. One is Conversational Chinese 301(first, second volume), the other is Elementary Spoken Chinese(1, 2). These two textbooks are compiled especially for beginners; both of them have the certain communication and representation. This article mainly adopts literature method, inductive method, and comparative study of research methods, on the contrast analysis from the written concept, content, form to exercise designs of two sets of textbooks, and focuses on considering the using by teaching angle.In this article, primary oral textbooks should account the interests, practicality, knowledge and effectiveness, but also requires the users of two textbooks can grasp these two textbooks better, to achieve the most ideal teaching purposes.This article is going to use multiple research methods to analysis those two textbooks for a full range. Hopefully to provide some references and inspirations for the preparation of oral Chinese textbooks.
