Human being can’t live without food since ancient times. It is of strategic importance fornations due to the foodstuff’s irreplaceability. In the Twentieth Century, foodstuff of Americabegan to play an important strategic role in the diplomacy. Backed by abundant foundation ofagriculture and perfect system safeguarded, America became a worldwide food supply center.And she was using food as a diplomatic weapon to gain American interests. Asia has become themain focus of American food diplomacy due to its keep geopolitics location and vast strategicresource. This article first analyzes the resource base and system safeguard of American’s fooddiplomacy deployment, then states the process in detail of American’s food diplomacy to Asiannations and regions, disclosing the nature of USA’s penetration and control to Asian nations byfood diplomatic base.
