The competition among enterprises is in essence the competition of manpower resources, which is contest of wisdom and strength between people. Nowadays, no matter which enterprise needs the possession of high-quality talents and the optimization of the whole manpower resources, if he wants to expand himself continuously and healthily. The enterprise needs to not only perfect the mechanism of administration and management but also establish effective incentive mechanism in order to optimize the whole manpower resources. It is the important subject for the manpower resources management of the enterprise that the enterprise arouses the enthusiasm of the staff especially the key staff by setting up effective incentive mechanism especially for the key staff. The subject of this thesis is about how Xiang He Electric Power Development Ltd of Zhengzhou founds incentive mechanism for its key staff, hoping to offer some certain enlightenment for setting up incentive mechanism for the key staff.Based on the background and significance of research, the object and content of research, this thesis firstly summarizes different kinds of relevant motivational theories, pointing out their enlightenment for the setting-up of the incentive mechanism. Then, by defining "key staff" and pointing out its characteristics and status, function in the management of enterprise, the thesis explains the necessity for the setting-up of the incentive mechanism for the key staff, in which the status quo and problem of the key staff in Xiang He company are also analyzed. Based on above mentioned, the setting-up of incentive mechanism for the key staff including senior manager, supervisor, professional and senior mechanic in Xiang He company is concretely pointed out, which is practical and exercisable. Besides, the condition to ensure the incentive mechanism is also discussed.The characteristics of this thesis lies in combination of theory and practice in which the theory of incentive mechanism is applied to analyze and discuss the setting-up of incentive mechanism for the key staff in an enterprise. Especially, the setting-up of incentive mechanism for thekey staff is specially studied and discussed whereas there is not so much achievement on this at present. The innovation was embodied from such an angle.
