Research On Revenue Growth Of Yanbian Farmers In New Situation

The problems facing agriculture, rural areas and fanners are key to China's economic construction, social development and stability. The interest and income of farmers, however, is its core problem. Increasing rural incomes in a variety of ways is a primary goal and an important task of rural works. Currently, it already raises great concerns from various circles. Following China's entry into WTO, the implementation of West China Development and Northeast China Revitalization strategies, agriculture and rural economy have entered a new development phase. In Yanbian, however, restrictive factors on rural income growth are increasing and growth rate now is slowing down. It has become a sharp problem harassing Yanbian's agricultural and rural economic development.Upon the requests of scientific outlook on development and coordinated development of urban and rural areas, both of which are set forth by the Sixteenth National Congress of the Party, the Third Plenary Sessions of its Sixteenth Central Committee and No.1 File of the Central Government, and under the guideline of "More Give, Less Levy and Flexibility," this paper combines the actual condition of Yanbian Prefecture and makes instructive exploration on rural income growth.This paper lists influential factors and relevant problems through analysis over local agricultural production condition, development situation and farmers' historical incomes. After probing into root causes of the slow income growth in the past few years, it brings forward the methods and countermeasures helping to rapidly increase farmers' incomes.
