The Strategy-oriented Performance Measures Study Of County Electric Power Company

Correct county electric power company performance assessment is a quite important link in the realization of the strategic management of the state grip Corporation, is the key to reform the electric power system. Based on a General overview of firm performance assessment theories, this study makes a comparison between traditional performance measures and strategy-oriented performance measures, analyzes the existing performance measurement system of county electric power company. The thesis has a literature review of the Balanced Scorecard researches and applications. Applying Balanced Scorecard method, this study designs questionnaires to collect experts' and guests' opinions, colligates the opinions, selects KPIS, builds experimentally the strategy performance assessment indicator system in county electric power company, determines the indicators' parameters. Through comparing the assessment result with the strategic standard, a conclusion is drawn and suggestions are put forward about how to improve the performance under present conditions, at the end, further research directions and expectations about applying the strategy performance assessment system to county electric power companys are proposed.
