With development of modern technology, manufacturing manner of electricproduction has shown a diversiform trend. Physical and chemical process have beenapplied to various working procedure of the production, and their effects would last inthe next several steps, multifarious domino effect might also be sprung by theseimpactive reactions. In addition, artificial factors and environment changes must beconsulted as the essential points for an actual manufacturing process.However, due to market requirement, electric production became smaller and moreprecise, and most electric production keeps a vast output quantity for cost reduction,it becomes more difficult to control the production quality. For the mass production,we need a more prompt, more effective Quality Control manner to guide us to scalethe whole manufacturing process;obviously the traditional Quality Control mannercould not give us a satisfactory answer.6Sigma is the quality management theory combining statistics with traditionalquality management (QM). Many worldwide famous & honorable corporationsadopted this modern manner to improve their manufacture process. Furthermore,6Sigma became popular among many domestic companies in recent years.Examples for MLCC (Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitor), a typical modern electricproduction, are demonstrated on this thesis. Improvement procedure included Cpkanalysis, CTQ ascertaining, and examination via DMAIC process. Finally, conclusionis validated and the courses are established as a persistent solution. The practicalapplications included the whole process for Bar extrusion,Ni-MlCC Crack failureusing 6Sigma. And many control tools, such as X-Y Matrix,PFMEA,GageR&R,Process Capability Analysis,Regression Analysis, impenetrate all theimprovement activities. According to the above examples, essential points are alsosummed for actual work.Nowadays, in order to converse the economic development mode from 'investmentdrive' to 'benefit drive' for China endeavors, it is very important how to improve QMof production to gain obvious income by an effectual measure. In the end of the thesis,method which is base on 6Sigma for general manufacturing process of modernelectric manufacturing is listed as the farther solution and suggestion, includingproduct yield improvement and production capability enhancement.
