Enterprise is the cell of modem world and the principal part of the market economy in which Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) that are the absolute majority of all the enterprise are the most active and vigorous part. SME account for a considerable proportion in the national economy and create a large quantity of job chances. Moreover, SME and Entrepreneur spirit and Venture Consciousness which are cultured by SME have become the pith of modern civilization and market economy and the innovate and developmental base of market economy system.Innovation is the soul of a nationality. It is knowledge economy in the 21th century and Technological Innovation to keep humans sustainable in the development of economy. Nowadays, we joined in the WTO, the competition from foreign enterprises become more intensive. It is necessary for survival and development of Chinese SME in the reform to improve their ability of Technological Innovation of SME. However,our SME face many difficulties in the process of Technological Innovation. How to enhance the ability of Technological Innovation of SME is a problem many SME need to solve. So this thesis makes research on the subject.At first, this thesis lays stress mainly on the relevant theory of Technological Innovation of SME, generalizing the definitions, types and characteristics of Technological Innovation of SME,introducing the relevant theory of Technological Innovation, advancing idea of analyzing factors of Technological Innovation from systematical angle.The next, based on research results of other scholars, this thesis improves study of motivity, capability and environment factors of Technological Innovation of SME, And analyzing motivity, capability and environment factors in the macro, our conclusion is that the ability of Technological Innovation of SME is influenced by the three factors common activity. Finally, the thesis analyzes the present developmental status quo and problem of Technological Innovation of SME in China, and puts forward the suggestions about Technological Innovation of SME in China.
