The commercial bank organizational structure is an important constituent in banking management, which is very important in the promotion of banking operation efficiency and molds of core competitive power. Commercial bank's success first must turn over to a high efficiency organizational structure. Our country's state-owned commercial bank has experienced reform and the development for more many years and basically had the modern commercial bank's characteristic. But the state-owned commercial bank organizational structure transformation obvious lags in bank whole reform and are backward in the request of time.On the base of theories of commercial bank organizational structure, this thesis expatiates on the evolution of our country's state-owned commercial bank organizational structure in the past and discusses the problem of it, mainly concentrating in four aspects as follows: too many administrative levels, unscientific department establishment, the authority too concentrate and the sub-branch's establishment violates the efficiency maximization principle. What's more, this thesis probe into the springhead of the problem of the state-owned commercial bank organizational structure. Then, this thesis introduces the international commercial banks'organizational structure, and summarizes their mature experience. Their mature experience mainly is that simplifing the management structure, matrixing management of the organizational structure; taking the service development system as the central establishment department, paying attention to the assignment of power and responsibility and establishing branch office according to the economic efficiency and so on.Finally, this thesis proposes suggestion about optimizing state-owned commercial bank organizational structure of our country. First, improve the running efficiency of its organizational structure. Sencond, distinguish the function of organizations and agencies. Third, optimize the establishment of functional department. Fouthly,combine the centralization and divident of power, the authority assignment matches the service development; At last, reorganize the branch offices following the economic zone and the efficiency principle. And propose necessary measure needed by the state-owned commercial bank organizational structure reform.
