There are four big production processes in a car factory, which are punching, welding,coating and assemblying. And punching is the top of four major processes. In order toensure safe and economic operation of stamping equipment, and promote the economicbenefits of enterprises, this paper has established a maintenance management system forthe automobile stamping workshop and stamping equipment, which is based on the theory.Total Normalized Productive Maintenance (TnPM) is for the maintenance ofmanufacturing and the equipment system based on overall equipment efficiency and totaleffective equipment productivity. It advocates the staff to join in the equipmentmanagement, and make guidance of correct operation, maintenance according to the actualsituation of the equipment in enterpris. In order to ensure normal and safe operation of theequipment, it uses the norm to constraint employees.First of all, this paper illustrates the related fields involved in this article in detail, andspecifies choosing TnPM theory’s importance of the stamping equipment management ofthe stamping workshop.Secondly, aimed at management characteristics of stamping equipment, this paperanalyses on-the-spot management of car company’s stamping workshops and themanagement situation of stamping equipment, and chooses appropriate countermeasuresand methods, and establishes a maintenance management system based on the TnPMtheory including constructing a system of autonomous maintenance management. Theelaboration of autonomous maintenance in steps illustrates how to undertake6S activities,and eliminate six-source activities, and so on. In order to change workers’ operating habits,it improves stamping workshops, and solidifies6S achievement combined withvisualization and customization.Again, in order to be able to effectively evaluate the effect of introductions of TnPM,this paper establishes the evaluation index to evaluate stamping equipment managementresults on the basis of TnPM five-order-six-dimensional evaluation system. Three monthsafter TnPM is introduced into stamping workshops, and in the following six months, thepanel consisted of workshop leaders rates quantitative indicators of the index system, thenthe workshop’s maintenance management staff calculates the data of quantitative indicators,at last six months data tables are formed.Finally, it uses the method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to analyze six months’ data, and calculate every month’s comples performance level of the stamping equipmentmanagement. According to the result of calculation, it draws a conclusion that,comprehensive efficiency of stamping equipment, skill levels of stamping workshops’ staffand the workshop specification level has been gradually improved after using TnPM.
