Research On All-electric Down-hole Inflow Control System

Intelligent well technology is a new reservoir/well production management technology, which main feature is using the ICV(Interval Control Valve) to control the reservoir fluid. It has obvious advantage in improving reservoir management, increasing recovery factor of oil and optimizing manufacturing efficiency., There is no mature intelligent well system in China, and it is expensive to introduce foreign technology. In this paper, a all-electric downhole fluid control system sample is designed, which is low-cost and suitable for the domestic normal boreholes.This paper mainly studies the down-hole interval inflow control system. According to the structure and the working principle of linear motor, a cylindrical Linear motor sample is designed. Considering the limitation of the single driving power of the motor, the series connection construction of a plurality of motors and the control method is proposed.The thesis also designs the scheme of all-electric ICV, the structure of the ICV, ICV drive and control circuit, the degree of opening of ICV measurement circuit, the downhole intelligent node, land-based surveillance software. By doing the work above, principled sample machine of conducting the functional experiment is made and test.The result shows that it can control ICV open/close and optional position. The land-based surveillance display conforms to the actual opening of ICV. It means the function of system module is completed and achieves the goals.These basic engineering studies can provide reference for dependently designing the intelligent well completion engineering sample machine applied in the domestic Slim hole wells.
