As the open-ended market competition is becoming fierce day by day in 21st century, small-and-medium-sized enterprises (SME) should pay more attention to make full use of team constructs, the level of team performance also depends directly on the validity of the Core Team, thereby deciding the survival and development.By small-and-medium-sized enterprises its own characteristics and external environmental changes determined by the requirements of the Core Team's form has also been used,more and more small-and-medium sized enterprises, its role and influence more prominent.When integration with the global economy is becoming mature, a lot of companies come up against difficulties in gaining efficiency of management. However, in the researches of teams in SME, factors affecting effectiveness is the hot spot that scholars concern. Because high efficiency can bring about good achievements, compared with common foreign enterprises, enterprises in China have many deficiencies, being confronted with big challenges. The affect of Core Team is more and more obvious,promotes the small-and-medium-sized enterprise quickly better development, has certain theory value and the practical significance.In this essay, researches are aimed at Core Team, especially has carried on a more thorough discussion and the research to validity and the factors affecting Core Team effectiveness in SME.Theories and documents at home and abroad are read and studied in a deep-going way. A questionnaire is conducted on the representative Core Team of Great Wall Broadband Company, summarizing three kinds of factors that affect Core Team in SME:the structure of Core Team in enterprises;the conditions around Core Team;influences in the process of team work. The three kinds of factors have covered ten effective factors, thus the evaluating indicator system and the concept model of the factors are built up.Then, results of the questionnaire are analyzed statistically.After the researches, there are some discoveries:t-relationship among the team members, profession of team members, stability of Core Team and unity of team members are in direct proportion to Core Team effectiveness;the relationship between encouragement on Core Team and Core Team effectiveness is close;the contributions team members make and Core Team effectiveness are not related obviously. According to the discoveries above, some suggestions are made about the effectiveness of Core Team in SME. Finally, on the basis of the summary, this essay has pointed out the way of researches in the future.
