The Relationship Research Of Entrepreneurial Orientation,Knowledge Creation Process And New Product Development Performance

In the background of rapidly changing competitive environment of economic globalization, more company take the action of entrepreneurial orientation strategy. But from the corporate entrepreneurial orientation to new product development performance, they need to have the support of path. This paper begin to research the entrepreneurial orientation action from the outcome variable of new product development performance, and choose the knowledge creation process as the mediating variable to explore the direct and indirect effect of entrepreneurial orientation on new product development performance.This study examines the relationship among entrepreneurial orientation, knowledge creation process, and new product development performance using survey data from 194 enterprise employees. We use SPSS and AMOS analysis to test the direct and indirect effects of the entrepreneurial orientation on new product development performance. Knowledge creation process operationalized to reflect the dimensions of socialization, externalization, combination, and internalization is used as the mediating variable for explaining the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and new product development performance. The results indicate that the significance of entrepreneurial orientation and new product development performance is reduced when the indirect of entrepreneurial orientation through knowledge creation process is included in a total effect model. Consequently, entrepreneurial orientation is positively related to new product performance, and knowledge creation process plays a mediating role in this relationship. Finally, this paper explains the results of empirical studies and proposes appropriate organization management suggestions.
