Research On The Social Security Systems Of Land-Lost Peasants In Suzhou

Integration of urban and rural construction is a break though of China's economic and social development of a new round. And it is also a demand of the affluent society building. However, a large number of peasants have been forced to leave the land in urban and rural integration process. Then they become having no land and do not plant crops. Many of those peasants are forced to confront the problems, such as losing land acquisition, being unemployed, lack of security, having no apparent improvement of living standards and even decline. Land is the basic production and means of subsistence peasants. In urban integration process, how to protect the interests of peasants who lose land, to properly resolve the peasants'pension and employment, to ensure the harmony and stability of rural society? This issue has become the important one that should be solved by party and government organs at all levels.Since Suzhou Municipal government has devoted continuously in the question of the land-lost peasants, is exploring the construction of their social security systems positively. This paper analyzes the social security systems in Suzhou Land-lost peasants the advantages and strengths, as well as problems。Some viewpoints are raised in order to improve the rural social security system and develop all kinds of undertakings in Suzhou.
