Power station boiler, as one of the power plant's three major equipments, its security situation will largely determine the security of the whole power plant. The technical of safety assessment as a modern safe management mode will help many companies understand the system conditions, safety basis, weak points and hidden dangers.the safety assessment of power station boilers is an important component of the whole power plant, the research on the safety assessment of power station boilers is of great theoretical and practical significance. This paper evaluated its safety with multi-layer fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model. Firstly, a more scientific evaluation index system suitable for on-line evaluating was set up on basis of analyzing the security status and risk factors of power station boilers from the aspects of equipment status, operation conditions and technical management separately, the evaluation index system is divided into three layers:category layer, system layer, detailed indexes layer. Next the method of deciding the weight of each factor of the index system and the membership functions of detailed indexes according to different types of indicators is given. Then according to vague comprehensive theory, select reasonable fuzzy composite operator to get assessment result. And then, it analyzed the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation result start with the factor that is most dangerous, and confirm the security grade of power station boilers, using binary tree classification algorithm, some examples are given to validate the applicable and effective of the proposed method. Finally, a power station boilers safety assessment software system is developed with the tool MATLAB GUIDE on the basis of above-mentioned method.
