Research Of Urban Expansion And Dynamic Mechanism Of Chongqing

Chongqing as the only municipality in Midwest China has a pivotal role in the implementation of the western development strategy. In recent years, the city of Chongqing is developing rapidly, showing some unique phenomena and laws.The first part of this review takes on summary form to introduce the concept of domestic and foreign scholars on urbanization, the urbanization of the dynamic mechanism and other aspects of the status quo. Among these scholars, some foreign scholars have the meaning of urbanization, which is "population urbanization", "economic urbanization","way of life urbanization" and other more integrated views. And domestic scholars on the basis of foreign theory, combined with their own domestic situation, redefined the new institutional economics of urbanization.The early scholars consider the Actuating Mechanism of Urbanization mainly from institutional innovation and industrial structure transformation. Another part of the scholars believe that industry and services play a key role in the process of urbanization. Meanwhile, China is vast in territory, which different regions have different characteristics, and the academics are discussed respectively.The second part is a brief introduction to this study in Chongqing's natural, social, economic and other basic conditions. Chongqing is located in the combination of the eastern and western regions, whose eastern is on the border of Hubei and Hunan province, southern next to Guizhou province, western to Sichuan province, northern to Shanxi province. Chongqing is the largest economic center, transportation hub and urban development pole of the metropolis upper Yangtze River. Chongqing is municipality, as Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai province.The third part is on the basis of demographic changes, changes in the main city urban area and other relevant data from "Chongqing Statistical Yearbook 2005 to 2009", through analyzing the data of the Population Distribution Lorenz Curve population concentration index, the Gini index of population, population distribution Guangxia degrees, urban expansion intensity, the urban population-urban sprawl index and other indicators to explore the law of development and influencing factors of Chongqing Municipality in recent years.The fourth part is based on the results of data analysis from the previous section, analyzing the main factors that influence the development of urbanization in recent 5 years included the "large rural population base," "inadequate supply of urban land," "economic growth and the income gap, "" The implementation of Western Development Strategy "and so on.By the above parts'analysis leads to the fifth part and combined with my own opinion to propose that promoting the city of sustainable development must pay attention to the influence of human capital, technology and institutional mechanisms incentives. However, we must recognize that the city is the product of labor division, and its development is not only a long-term accumulation of economic factors, the process of building the physical environment, but also a long-term process of cultural accumulation. The process of urbanization is not only the agricultural population to the city's historical process of accumulation and transformation, but also in the city's growing itself, the process of change, through their economic, material and cultural forces to accelerate the spread of human civilization, communication and sublimation. Vicissitudes of urban civilization is the spiritual home we all share and is the sustainable momentum of all healthy and vigorous. Historical and cultural heritage and urban civilization are the core points of sustainable urbanization.
