| Since 1980s, with the increase of tourism competition among different regions, academic circle has drawn closer attention to the study of regional tourism competitiveness than ever before. However, the current scale of tourism competitiveness study is also more concentrated at the national, provincial and city level, and for our country's basic administrative units-county region, the degree of concern tourism competitiveness was not enough. In order to enrich this field of research, this paper starts from the explanatory indices of county tourism destination, and then sets up a set of evaluation index system on tourism competitiveness of county region, in the hope of applying the index system to evaluate and analyze the tourism competitive power of Gaochun and providing a scientific guidance to the development of County Tourism.Two main sectors are included, showing the foundation and demonstration. The first sector involves introducing theoretical foundation, related concepts and research methods. It includes the anterior 4 chapters. Firstly, the background and the significance of the selected subjects are clarified; then the author has a review of the relevant research and theories homely and abroad, further defining the conceptions that the thesis has involved; Next, proceeding with tourism path of several typical county tourism destination, the author analyzes the explanatory indices and constructs the conceptual model of tourism competitiveness. At the same time, the evolution of county tourism competitiveness is analyzed from the perspective of formation mechanism and a set of theory of index system on tourism competitiveness of county region is build. The second part of this paper is demonstration analysis, including the fifth chapter. The empirical analysis index system was obtained on the basis of the theory index system and availability of indexes. Among this, the tourism competitiveness of Gaochun, Lishui, Liyang were comparative analyzed from the space perspective by using AHP method. And then, the development of tourism competitiveness of Gaochun is evidence analyzed from the history perspective by using principal component analysis method.The paper draws the following conclusions:(1) The key factors which have influence on the county tourism competitiveness include tourism resource, state action, tourist enterprise, location and economic base. (2)The evolution stages of county tourism competitiveness experienced four stages such as comparative advantage, competitive advantage and competitiveness from the standpoint of formation mechanism, while its manifestation also experienced four competitive stages, which are resources, produce and sale, capital strength and innovation of county tourism. (3) The county tourism competitiveness is composed of comprehensive competitive power, potential competitive power and supporting power of tourism environment of county tourism. The empirical evaluation index system is subdivided into 33 specific appraisals targets. (4) In the three county regions, Gaochun's tourism competitiveness ranked at last, and it goes through tourism industrial formation stage (1999-2004) and the stage of development (2005-present). Along with these results, the author also gives a comprehensive analysis on the problems that Gaochun's tourism industry faces in its development. (5) To present some suggestions, based on the substantial evidence analysis, to improve the competitiveness of Gaochun's tourism:integrating tourism resources effectively to promote tourism fine products; breaking through the bottleneck of infrastructure and improving the tourism service system; making a clear tourism image and increasing the scope of propaganda; adequate financial input should be raised, increasing tourism science and technology, cultivating tourism personnel; strengthening regional cooperation and implementing tourism competing strategies; Focusing on the environmental innovation of tourism development to achieve sustainable development of tourism. |
