With the accelerating pace of social and economic development,modern enterprises have paid much more attention to human resources, and human resources management has become an important part of the management strategy of modern enterprise. Of all the enterprise resources, human resources are the most important ones, and is the embodiment of the core competitiveness of enterprises. Especially in the era of knowledge economy, knowledge has become a strategic asset, the competitiveness of enterprises will be based on core competencies the cultivation of which will be based on knowledge management. Human resources, as "bearers" of knowledge and technology of enterprises, are on behalf of the company's unique assets, and are the basis of monopoly technical superiority created by enterprises. Therefore, the corporate human resources have become the key factor in competition, and human resources planning has become the necessary steps in human resources management. Human resource planning, a kind of strategic planning, focuses on the future enterprise production and preparation of human resources in advance, sustained and systematic analyzes the human resources needs in the changing business conditions, and develops a personnel policy in accordance with the long term benefits of enterprises'organizations.Based on the analysis of human resources management theory and the actual situation of Changqing Oilfield Company, this paper analyzes the human resource planning in oilfield. Facing significant changes in internal and external environment, enterprises require the active participation and cooperation of human resource planning in order to achieve the enterprise development strategies. Only by predicting the demand and supply of human resources by use of scientific methods and taking appropriate policies and measures to keep balance of human resources demand and supply and to provide suitable talents to enterprises can the enterprises ensure the completion of the business tasks and realization of goals in the survival and development process.
