Community participating in tourism, an efficient way to add residents' income and decrease negative influences of tourism, which is also an open democratization process to manage and affect tourism exploitation by community residents. Nowadays, community participation becomes the key on tourism research with amount of productions; however, research about participation models in minority community seems inadequate. Because minority areas are far from the city and economy develops solely, participation ability of community residents is low. The residents can not profit from tourism which leads to "duality" distribution phenomenon of tourism income. Targeted at models of participating in tourism in minority areas, existing models of community participation was firstly summarized in this dissertation. Then new models were proposed after analyzing the problems of old models. New models comprised of resources participation model, product participation model, entity participation model and capital participation model.The main contents are as follows:1. Summarized domestic and overseas literatures and pointed out the disadvantages on domestic research of community participation model;2. Defined community and community participation and had an analysis of economics and sociology in the basis of summarizing theory on community participation;3. Analyzed the particularity of tourism development in minority community and summed up existing models of community participation;4. Indicated the problems in existing models;5. Introduced new models, including resources participation model, product participation model, entity participation model and capital participation model.6. Summarized the dissertation and pointed out the disadvantages.
