The Study On Green Trade Barrier & Enterprise's Strategy

With the development of science and technology, survival situation and the quality of life have been being improved greatly. While Human being is showing their reason, enjoying what science and technology brings about, they are confronted with the great environmental crisis simultaneously. For the surging population, excessive consuming of natural material and discharging of contaminated things in large amount, natural material on earth are facing enormous deficit. Under such background, the protection of global environment becomes the common aim all over the world. Consecutively, many countries establish environmental protection law and regulation, which directly cover the import commodity, to protect environment and limit import, the so-called Green Trade barrier comes into being directly. The Green Trade Barrier means that in the international environmental field, in the name of protecting natural resources, ecological environment and human being health, by working out a series of complicated harsh environmental protection system and standard, interposing an obstacle, restricting entrance to protect domestic market as the new model non-tariff barrier.The article reiterates the definition, characteristic, manifestation, cause of formation, developing trend and their side effect to our international trade. From the aspect of enterprises, the author propose his strategy, From fostering a correct environmental values, strengthening the environmental management system and building the warning mechanism of green trade barrier to striding over the Green Trade Barrier successfully. The study of enterprise strategy will be having significant role in strengthening competition, realizing economy benefit, the environment protection, defending consumers' benefit.
