With the reform of planned economy system into the market-oriented economy system, the employment problems the women facing in our country become more and more obvious and serious. Surveys show that a lot of employers prefer employing men to employing women .Some employers even defy the law by declaring in job advertisements that men are wanted only. In addition, the unfair treatment against women in employment situation reflects in terms of income, promotion opportunities and professional training. The phenomenon causes people to start thinking about the reasons of sex discrimination in the calling of the impartial of society and sex equality.This paper divides into five parts altogether. Part one is the preface, introduces the aim and the meaning of the research, the domestic and overseas former documents, the content, the methods of the research and relative definition. Part two is on the basis of searching formal document, analyses the current situation and result. Part three analyses the reasons, realizes that the women's employment situation are in the underground of transform of society. The women are influenced by traditional sex idea and character difference, and limited by their physical trait. The women's culture level is not high because of the educational discrimination and country's policies have un-system and soft restrain. The series deeper causes behind the society phenomenon lead that the question of women's sex discrimination of employment has not been solved. It is not only bad for the women's development, but also destroys the s impartial of society. In part four, some proposals are suggested in solving the problem of sex discrimination in employment of China. Part five is the tag, summarizes the thesis.
