Study On Design And Application Of Performance Management System For Huangwan Company

Yellow River Wanjiazhai Water Control Project Limited Company ( Huangwan Company ) is set up by Ministry of Water Resoures, Shanxi Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Huangwan Company is the owner unit of Wanjiazhai Water Control Project which is one of important project in China.Huangwan Company has 196 employees. In 1993, the National Plan Committee approved the Proposal. The construction of main works began at the end of 1994. The Yellow River was closed in december 1995. The reservoir was impounded on 1 October 1998. The first unit in the hydroelectric station generates on 28 November 1998. The Project has completed in December 2002. During this period , Huangwan Company used performance management system of the industry unit basically. In the end of project, Strategic direction of Huangwan Company changed from project construction to company operation, Old performance management system is unfit. Huangwan Company changed its performance management system from 2004 to 2005.The thesis aimed at solving the realistic problem in the company. By analyzing and evaluating the new institutional framework, the weakness and strengthness of enterprise, the thesis pointed out the problems of the old performance management system. According to the situation of the company, the thesis adopted some suitable evaluation tools, analyzed a new performance management system of Huangwan Company.This paper first introduces the performance and performance evaluation,development of performance management theory and performance management system briefly. This text chapter 2 points out the problems of the old performance management system. Chapter 3 introduces the way of thinking of design,the design of performance evaluation system,the design of performance management system. Chapter 4 mainly explains realization and utilization of new performance management system in Huangwan Company.
