This thesis reviewed the current research for project combinational management, especially focused on project management in small to medium size enterprises. It characterized features of commonly used management models. In addition, it specified pitfalls of multi-project management models, including traditional functional management model, task-oriented micro-management model, and matrix management model. Based on the analysis, a combinational management model was proposed to ensure successful systematic administration in enterprises.At the beginning, the thesis established hypothetical goal for project combinational management, it analyzed features of the model and setup structure for project flow management. Then, it reviewed the implementation forms of this model, analyzed the whole process from project combination to project prioritization. It also evaluated the importance of projects by using punishment function, which is based on the impact of propone and postpone on the project. Furthermore, the thesis investigated the resource allocation of the model. It concluded that by setting key chain of project management, resource conflict between tasks will be reduced efficiently.At the end, the thesis conducted a case study of office project management. In the study, should the project planed with traditional management model, it would incur huge delay thus would not able to meet user's requirement. While by adopting project combinational management model, with project sorting and key chain setting to fully utilize company resources, the project finally completed all combinational tasks within user's time frame.The thesis1. Systematically researched project combinational management and compared various existing project combinational management models.2. Systematically analyzed common used project management solutions and summarized features and pitfalls of each solution.3. Analyzed the structure / project sorting / resource allocation of project combinational management and identified project punishment function / resource allocation key chain setting as means to increase project management efficiency. 4. Conducted a case study for company project management. It drew the attention to the difference between traditional project management models and the project combinational management model. In addition, it concluded and emphasized the importance of project combinational management.
