Study On The Construction And Application About Knowledge Management System Of Construction Enterprises

With the continuous development of knowledge economy and information technology, knowledge resource has become the important resource of enterprise. In order to maintain core competitiveness in the fierce competition, enterprises must introduce a new method to identify, accumulate, communicate, store and create their knowledge resource effectively. So the new thought of knowledge management (KM) emerges as the times requirement. Because the construction industry is a pillar industry of our national economic development, to study the knowledge management system of construction enterprises has quite important meanings in theory and practice.This paper mainly discussed the constructing of construction enterprises knowledge management system. Firstly, the paper studies the meaning and classification of enterprise knowledge resources, putting forward its own understanding about KM and knowledge management system (KMS) based on the definitions and viewpoints of worldwide knowledge management experts. Secondly, the paper analyzes development status and industry characteristics of Chinese construction enterprises, combining KM and construction enterprises, and analyzes the feasibility and inevitability on the implementation of KM in construction enterprises, sums up achievements and shortcomings of the KM on Chinese construction enterprises. Thirdly, the author researches the process of constructing KMS in construction enterprises, and designs KM strategy system for construction enterprises by analyzing knowledge resources and whole environment aiming at supplying correct direction to the implementation of knowledge management. In order to design KM support system on construction enterprises, the author puts forward guarantee measures of KM in terms of organizational structure, corporate culture, technology tools. Focusing on construction projects, author combines project process and knowledge process tightly to set up knowledge repository. By building KM operating system, all kinds of resource, such as in design, construction, supervision and government are integrated to share knowledge. Finally, the author combines the theory about construction enterprises' KMS with the practice of Anhui Construction Engineering Group Co., LTD., studies the composing of enterprises' KMS and problems which should be concerned in the implementation.
