Research On Organization Structure Reengineering In China

By study on the Baoshang Bank's organization structure, the author finds that proper organization structure can utilize the limited recourses to promote the Bank's development. Papers in the past focus on the bank-reengineering as a system or pay much attention to the business process reengineering, lacking the study focusing organization-reengineering. However, organization structure combing the human resources with materials such as business and product is a crucial element in the development of commercial bank. Facing the great challenge of foreign commercial bank, it is necessary for commercial bank in our country to study their theory and practice of bank-reengineering in order to summarize and learn their valuable experience, therefore, this study will be helpful to the reform to our commercial banks. Studying the characteristics of foreign commercial banks and analyzing the situations of commercial banks in china, this paper tries to give some advice on how to reengineer organization structure after pointing out the problems from inner organization department and outside organization structure.Based on this train of thought, this paper initially gives a brief introduction to some theory on bank reengineering and organization structure and points out the importance of organization and the way to establish the proper organization. Furthermore, the paper analyzes the characteristics of foreign commercial banks and gives some advice to commercial banks in our country from two important aspects. Finally, this paper takes commercial bank of china as an example to have a useful analyst.
