With the increasing competition of the global market, enterprises have to face the more competitive environment than ever. More and more enterprises have realized the importance of supply chain management (SCM), which helps to strengthen cooperation, information sharing among enterprises and suppliers and quick reactions according to market situation. Selection of supplier is an important issue of SCM.In this thesis, a supplier selection model is raised based on fuzzy set theory. The model aims to deal with qualitative criteria and quantitative items involved with selection, which is expected to overcome subjective shortcomings during the process of selecting suppliers. A numeric example in DNMC is presented to illustrate how to use the model in practice. Besides, the supplier relationship management is analyzed based on the market power matrix theory. Suppliers are classified into four groups, and the basic principles and procedures are given to help enterprises to establish the strategic cooperative partnership with its suppliers. The last part of this paper presents the risk assessment approach in supplier relationship management, and provides respective risk control measures for risk factors identified. Generally, this thesis is helpful to enrich the study of supplier selection and cooperation management. The models and method presented is expected to improve maintenance service supplier management in DNMC.
