Risk Analysis And Evaluation Of The Fourth Party Logistics In China

With the development of IT, rapid changing of competent environment and globalization of economy, more and more enterprises focus on the logistics to develop their core competence .The Fourth Party Logistics (4PL) discussed in this paper is put forward under this situation. As our country's fourth party logistics enterprises are new-born, they encounter some risks in the course of development, so, it is so important to solve the risk problem that existing in the 4PL, to control the risk in certain range effectively and to promote the ability of 4PL to resist risk. This paper will carry on deep discussion on 4PL risk and the evaluation method of risk on the basis of absorbing the thinking of domestic and international relevant research and research results.Firstly, this paper analyses the existence causes, definition, connotation, operation organization and operation model of 4PL, and compares 4PL with 3PL. Secondly we conclude the factors and sub-factors and expatiate on the mechanism of those risk factors. According to the optimized standard, we filter the important factors, and construct the Index System of Risk Evaluation by its levels. Also we give the evaluating standard to every index. We establish a Risk Evaluation Pattern of 4PL, that's a synthesizing evaluation pattern based on the AHP Methods.Finally, we regard one 4PL company in Guangzhou as the instance of using, use the evaluation index system of 4PL and the fuzzy comprehensive judgment model of risk that set up in this paper to analysis the risk of the company,and obtain a good application result.
