Research On Intellectual Property Strategy Of China ICT Industry On The Basis Of Technology Standard

In 2006, so many prolems concerning with intellectual property standard appear in our media, such as TD-SCDMA, WAPI, EVD, IPTV and so on. All of them are very important for the development of relative industry in China and generally observed by the public. At the meantime, these problems have successfully rouse people's attention on national intellectual property strategy. Under this background, researchers focus on how to make a suitable intellectual property strategy and technology standard strategy, how to apply these strategies to promote independent intellectual property and standard, researchers have focused all their attention on finding a solution to this problem.As a connecting point of property and standard, technology standard is a deep-seated problem in intellectual property strategy, especially it is the core problem faced with ICT industry. According to this, I take TD-SCDMA and WAPI as examples to research on the intellectual property and technology standard strategy of China ICT industry.The innovations of this paper: firstly, I research the intellectual property problem from management point of view; secondly, I apply and combine many theories to analyse the problem, such as PEST theory, SWOT analysis, and so on.The conclusion: The development of China ICT industry mainly depends on the development and competition of Chinese companies, at the meantime, the policy of the government and the China ICT industry alliance will play an important role.
