Lean production is well known as a good production style in manufacturing. Its purpose is to increase the benefit of enterprises and quick respond to customer's requirement by eliminating the waste in the production. Different time among workstations will seriously effect the efficiency of the assembly line and quality of products, and also employees' morale. As a result, it's very important to keep the assembly line balance.In this article, it discusses about theory and methods of assembly line balance and lean production. As the unbalance issue on vehicle bridge assembly line, I'll use the lean production method to check the time of working procedures and eliminate the waste action. I'll also work out a standard according to the principle which keeps the assembly line balance. That will improve workers' ability and make the production status better.
