Research On Chinese Enterprises Green Supply Chain Management Against Green Trade Barriers

The economy globalization and trade liberalization have become the trend of world economy, but trade protectionism still exists. Since our country has joined the World Trade Organization, some developed countries gradually cancel tariff barrier, but they build green trade barrier to limit Chinese enterprises in name of protecting the human health and the environment. The green trade barrier has created enormous barrier for Chinese enterprises. Green supply chain management is the effective way of working out this problem, which could make Chinese enterprises obtain the broader market space and the bigger trade benefit. Meanwhile green supply chain management can also alleviate the environmental protection pressure which is highlighting day after day, and improve the ecological environment which is worsening day by day.Implementing green supply chain management means regarding enterprise's reproduction process and the recycling process as a whole system. Each pitch point of the system must be economical and conform to the green environment protection. According to the request of green trade barrier, the green supply chain management concerns four links and three essential processes. In supply aspect, through appraising and choosing the supplier, establishing the alliance with the essential supplier, Chinese enterprises can reduce the enterprise environmental protection investment in the later period, reduce the production cost, and reduce the possibility from the source which the green trade barrier occurs. In the recycling aspect, through establishing effective product recycling channel, Chinese enterprises can gain scale economy of recycling and reuse the recycling product, which is an effective way of breaking the green trade barrier about recycling. Performance appraisal is an important part of the green supply chain management. By means of quantitative analysing finance value, the customer value, the supply chain business processes, and the green environment protection index, Chinese enterprises could optimize the green supply chain management.Compared with traditional supply chain, the green supply chain have reverse logistics company in addition, the green supply chain management is more complex. The green supply chain member's self-interest act could lead to profit conflict between the member and the whole green supply chain. The differences of corporate culture may affect cooperation among the green supply chain members. In addition, the bullwhip effect, adverse selection and moral hazard can attenuate the green supply chain's function. Coordination becomes an important method of green supply chain management. When implement the green supply chain management, Chinese enterprises must coordinate corresponding conflict form different layers, so as to improve management, enhance the green supply chain's competitive advantages, and promote Chinese enterprises' competitive capability in the international market.
