Study On The Harmony Economic Development In The East And West Region Of Shandong Province

It is an inevitable choice for society to make equal coordinated development of the regional economy, which will benefit a lot for constructing the harmonious society at present. Balance and its sustainable development of social economy, coupled with narrowing the gap between city and rural area, both need that choice. Shandong, as a large province of economy, plays an important role in regional economy coordinating from national aspect. Its economic development is closely linked to the economic development of the whole country closely. Facing present good opportunity for development in both international and domestic, Shandong is at the point of adjusting economic development strategy and regional economic policy. The adjustment and formulation of economic development strategy and regional economic policy of Shandong, on one hand, should observe in the whole country, fully realize its own existing level and position in the whole country; on the other hand Shandong need to foot on its reality and realize the current situation of economic development, base on the reality of the economic development deficiency between the western and eastern part. Only in this way, regional economy development strategies and regional economic policies can coordinate with the national regional development strategies and regional economic policies, suit the reality of regional economic development and promote the developing in harmony of regional economy of Shandong. So, studying on the difference of regional economy of Shandong and probing into its course of change and measures, undoubtedly have a great realistic meaning and theory value, which makes the starting point of this research.Through systemic analysis of the regional state of development of the western and eastern in Shandong, this research points out existing gap between western and eastern part and its reason. It also summarizes the main characteristics and development trends of the gap, puts forward several basic points to meet the gap, finally annotates the advantage narrowing this kind of disparity at present. Based on it, the issue puts forward general thinking of regional economy and gives the following advices on the present situation of Shandong. (Ⅰ) The western and eastern should optimize the overall arrangement of productivity by rational industry dividing;(Ⅱ)Starting the inherent vigor of economic development of the western region; (Ⅲ) The government should strengthen the support to the western region progressively; (Ⅳ) Taking various forms to promote the whole development both the western and eastern part; (Ⅴ) Accelerating cultivating the new growth engines of the western region; (Ⅵ) Coordinating the western and eastern and developing in harmony by the whole society participating together, etc.
