A Study On The Strategy For Co-ordinating Urban And Rural Development To Build A Comprehensive, Well-off Society

In order to discribe the strategy of co-ordinating urban and rural development at all respects,the paper, firstly, makes an introduction on the relative theory, then makes an analysis on the prerequisite and content of the strategy on urban and rural co-ordination in macro-level, at last,takes WuXi as an example, makes an introduction and analysis on the experience and inadequacy of the strategy in WuXi in meium-level. The paper is including three parts: Part I, an introduction on relative strategic theory. Part II, an analysis on macro-strategy, Part III, an analysis on strategic practice inWuXi.Strategic Theory is including Chapter I and Chapter II.Chapter I, the relations between co-ordination of urban and rural development and the construction of comprehensive, well-off society.Chapter II, the relative theory,which is including the dual structure theory, the urban growth-stage theory ,and the growth pole theory.Macro-strategy Analysis is inclding Chapter III and Chapter IV.Chapter III, the practice and enlightenment of the strategy in Japan and South Korea.Chapter IV, an inrodunction on current China's urban and rural co-ordinateing its promoteing proposal. At the same time that concludes a judgment on the level of urbanization by the theory of development stage of the city, an analysis is made on the institutional environment by means of institutional analysis. Finally the conclusion is that it's just the time for us to co-ordinate urban and rural development. After an introduction of the present policies, which the government has made, the way of co-ordination between urban and rural areas to the comprehensive, well-off society is pointed out at four respects.Strategic Practice Analysis is including Chapter V and Chapter VI.Chapter V, the inadequency of urban and rural co-ordination and its solutions in Wuxi .
