Study On Influence Of Corporate Culture Upon Garment Company ERP Implementation

With the rapid development of China's garment and industry the growing competition between companies, more and more garment companies have began to apply ERP software system for enterprise resources planning and integration to promote the management level and competition ability. The ERP software represented the most advanced management thoughts and management style in the world, but the implementation in China only achieve 10% success rate. So somebody conceded that the ERP software isn't suitable for the Chinese state of the nation. One of the reasons is that the influence of the culture upon ERP implement hasn't been valuing by people.This dissertation firstly elaborates the purpose and significance of the research, gives the research thoughts, main research methods and the related theories. Secondly, based on the critical success factors of the implementation of ERP, the dissertation explores the critical success factors of the implementation of ERP from the aspect of enterprise culture according to the theories and methods of enterprise culture and critical success factors, including universalism, collectivism, emotional exposion,specific single-minded, achievement and sense of belonging, attitude to time and environment. Thirdly, through the analysis of the characteristics of Chinese enterprise culture and Chinese garment enterprise culture, and the influence of the culture characteristics through the implementation of ERP, this dissertation puts forward the critical success factors of the implementation of ERP which is based on the garment enterprise culture, i.e. the definiteness of enterprise vision, the policy of personnel incentives, employees have specific single-minded, good learning environment and the standardized enterprise system. Finally, the dissertation proposes the strategies for establishing such enterprise culture.
