China's Regional Innovation Isomorphism And Its Optimization Research

In recent years, great achievements have been made in china's regional innovation, which has effectively promoted the process of building innovation-oriented country and regional economic and social development of china. However, there are still different kinds of problems, which directly or indirectly affect the regional innovation development in a rapid, healthy, sustainable way in china. And the regional innovation isomorphism is the most serious one in these problems, but there are few research results about the problem. So it is of great significance both practically and theoretically to make a study about China's regional innovation isomorphism.By using industrial isomorphism theory and related theory as a source of reference, adopting both qualitative analysis method and quantitative analysis method, selecting high-tech zones and high-tech industries as the analysis samples, the paper has respectively analyzed the China's regional innovation isomorphism problem in aspects of regional innovation activities and regional innovation achievements. About the isomorphism in regional innovation activities, the article has qualitatively analyzed the problem with the leading industries in major high-tech zones of China. About the achievements of regional innovation, the article selects the output values of the high-tech new products (1997-2006) as the parameters of the sample, and adopts similarity coefficient method and structure difference degree method, quantitatively proves the existence of isomorphism in regional innovation achievements in China. But the result suggests that the convergence trend is not obvious.Based on the empirical analysis of China's regional innovation isomorphism, the paper has further analyzed the reasons of that problem, and briefly discussed its adverse effects. Lack of differentiation in the strategy plan for regional innovation is the main reason leading to the problem. There is not plan the innovation according the character of each regional innovation zone. According to the analysis, the paper provides a comparative advantage strategy of the regional innovation, aiming to evade the regional innovation isomorphism. Also, the paper has made a proof to the theory from both theoretical and practical aspects. In the end, recommendations have been provided to corresponding policies.
