The Present Situations And Analysis Of Influencing Factors On China's Labor Services Export

Labor services export is one of services trade, which did not gain enough concern from scholars before because of its slow development. Economic co-operation among countries is further strengthened under the economic globalization. Labor migration in the international market is inevitable, particularly in the case of unbalancing economic development and uneven distribution of labor force. The essence of international labor services export is the exchange of the talent labors and the surplus labor forces among nations or regions. These labor forces will be a supplement to a country or a region where human resources are deficient. By utilizing, exploring and managing them, a nation or a region's labor forces will be developed better and healthily.The labor force is relatively sufficient in China, labor supply is more than demand in the long-term, then form intensive pressure of employment. The domestic and foreign researches indicate that labor services export play a positive role in increasing of labor income and easing employment pressure. In severely domestic employment situation, the paper analyzes the present situations of China's labor services export, discusses the influencing factors on China's labor services export, makes empirical analyses about the effects on it, and proposes the related strategies and recommendations for the further development. Obviously, the researches of the paper have very strong practical significance in the current background.Fristly, this paper inspects the present situations of China's labor services export as a whole, discusses the features, and the demand of international labor services market. Then the paper analyzes the influencing factors on labor services export. Meanwhile, it analyse empirically the effect of labor services export. Finally, it draws the conclusion: foreign direct investment, export trade, and foreign project contracting play positive roles on labor services export. These factors have significant effect on the labor services export in the long-term, however only export trade have significant effect in the short-term. The effect of foreign direct investment and foreign project contracting are not significant, because foreign direct investment and foreign project contracting exist a certain lag. On the basis of the analysis of present situations and the empirical research, the paper puts forward the suggestions and countermeasures as to carry out labor services export further from three different angles, including market development, workforce training, and system policy. This paper aims to provide new perspective to understand the development of the labor services export, and try to further study the influencing factors and the effect of labor services export.
