Under the background of revival world economy and adjustment of global industry structure,multinational M&A becomes the hotspot of current international economy , which has obtained much concern. Gradually, multinational logistics M&A is regarded as the main way as well as the shortcut for the enterprises to pursue global market share and continuous self-development. Currently,China not only becomes the biggest global M&A market,but also Chinese logistics enterprises have greatly expanded the scale in international market to realize their intemationalization through multinational M&A.According to Mcklnsey and other research results, cultural difference,as well as cultural conflict,become one of the key aspects which influences success of logistics M&A. This thesis takes the cultural element of M&A integration as the main content for the research,which is of some particular and real significance to logistics enterprises'M&A.In this thesis, there are five parts, including introduction, chapter one to chapter three, and conclusion.Introduction part mainly introduces the objective, significance, literature review, research methods and main innovations of the thesis.Chapter one summarizes the multinational M&A theory,cultural conflict theory as well as cultural integration theory, and makes further analysis on the present situation,characteristics,and motivation of the multinational M&A.Chapter two analyzes the cultural conflict influencing elements resulting in multinational logistics M&A process and discusses the relationship between cultural conflict and multinational logistics M&A performance.Chapter three, after a thorough investigation of a German multinational logistics M&A company---UTI (United Transportation Inc.), presents a diagnosis on current cultural conflict situation, explores the causes of cultural conflict,and gives some important conclusions.Conclusion part brings forward the related research conclusions and suggestions. Main conclusions are as follows, multinational M&A becomes one of the best methods for logistics enterprises to gain continuous competition advantages in globalization of economy and high-speed development of science and technology. Differences of national culture and corporate culture have great influence on multinational logistics M&A integration,and proper control of cultural conflict can provide M&A with diversified advantages. Cultural integration should be considered foremost,and it is also important to take effective cultural integration modes.Main suggestions are as follows.To begin with, full investigative research has to be done before M&A. Investigative research is extremely essential.Second, appropriate enterprise culture conflicts controlling strategies should be carried out. Therefore, the best strategies of dealing with culture conflicts should be controlling them instead of eliminating or avoiding them.Third, culture integration mode should be seriously considered. Judging by the acquirer and acquiree's different development stages of their corporate culture and their relevant culture values, different modes would be chose and took out.Forth, a common corporate culture will be established. Enterprises'M&A is not only a process with culture conflicts but also with culture identification on which needs to be paid more attention.
